Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Postiz (the "Service"), operated by Wicflow Oy ("we", "us", "Wicflow"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Postiz is a social media scheduling and management platform that lets you connect supported social media accounts (including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, and others) and schedule, publish, and manage content on those accounts.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
- You must comply with the terms and policies of every social media platform you connect.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at info@wicflow.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Publish content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or infringes intellectual property rights
- Send spam, mass unsolicited messages, or engage in inauthentic behavior
- Violate the terms, policies, or community guidelines of any connected social media platform
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service to distribute malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system
- Resell, sublicense, or repackage the Service without our prior written consent
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Connected Social Media Accounts
By connecting a social media account, you authorize Postiz to act on your behalf to perform the actions you have explicitly enabled (e.g., publishing scheduled posts, reading comments). You can revoke this access at any time, either inside Postiz or directly within the relevant social media platform's settings.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish through Postiz and for ensuring that publication complies with the rules of the destination platform.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload through the Service. By using the Service, you grant Wicflow a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., delivering your scheduled post to Facebook).
7. Intellectual Property
The Postiz codebase is open source and licensed under its respective open-source license. The Wicflow brand, logo, and our hosted instance, configuration, and customizations remain the property of Wicflow Oy. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
8. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Service Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wicflow Oy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you have paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct).
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable law, or if continued provision of the Service to you exposes us to legal or security risk. On termination, the rights and obligations that by their nature should survive will survive (including liability, intellectual property, and dispute resolution).
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated to active users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the District Court of Helsinki, Finland, unless mandatory consumer protection rules grant you the right to bring action in your country of residence.
