Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to delete your data from Postiz, the social media scheduling platform operated by Wicflow Oy. We honor every deletion request and act on it within 30 days, in accordance with the GDPR and the policies of the social media platforms we integrate with.
Option 1 — Delete a Single Connected Account
If you only want to remove one connected account (e.g., a Facebook Page or Instagram account) from Postiz, but keep your Postiz account active:
- Log in to Postiz at postiz.wicflow.com
- Open Settings → Channels (or Integrations)
- Find the channel you want to remove
- Click Disconnect or the trash icon
- Confirm
The OAuth tokens and all data fetched from that platform will be deleted from our systems within 30 days.
Option 2 — Delete Your Entire Postiz Account
If you want to delete your Postiz account and all data we hold about you:
- Log in to Postiz at postiz.wicflow.com
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
All personal data, content, scheduled posts, and connected platform tokens will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Backups containing your data are rotated and deleted within the same window.
Option 3 — Email Request
If you cannot access your account, or prefer email, send a deletion request to:
Subject: Postiz Data Deletion Request
Include: the email address used to register your Postiz account.
We will verify the request, delete your data, and confirm completion within 30 days.
Revoking Access at the Platform Level
You can also revoke Postiz's access to your social accounts directly from each platform. This stops Postiz from being able to act on your behalf, and our stored tokens for that platform will be invalidated:
- Facebook: facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites
- Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → Active
- LinkedIn: Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Permitted services
- X (Twitter): Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions
- TikTok: Settings → Security & login → Manage app permissions
- YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions
What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, hashed password, organization)
- All connected social media accounts and their OAuth tokens
- All scheduled, draft, and published post records
- All uploaded media (images, videos)
- Comments, replies, and engagement data fetched from connected platforms
- Usage logs associated with your account
Some anonymized, aggregate data (e.g., total counts used for service-wide statistics) and information we are legally required to retain (e.g., invoicing records) may be kept for the period required by law.
Confirmation
Once your data has been deleted, you will receive an email confirmation at the address used to register your account (or the address you contacted us from).
